I am 19 years old female. Whenever my heart races too fast after climbing 2 or 3 floors, I get anxious about my heart that am I getting a heart attack? A little pain in my left arm or left leg also makes me think about heart attack symptoms although my heart rate ranges between 70 to 90 bpm. My heart rate also increases whenever I run or walk too fast. And for these reasons I get scared. Is this normal?

Hi Lybrate user. As you mention you get anxious while climbing stairs, it can be symptom of low hb level. It might need some blood investigations for that you can visit nearby doctor or can connect with us on Lybrate. It is normal to get increased heart rate while running. So for that you don't have to worry. Hope i'm able to address your query!
