I have had back pain for many years, and I am always taking pain-killing tablets. My doctor wants me to have a laminectomy, which he says will cure my problem. What sort of operation is a laminectomy?

In laminectomy a part of your vertebral body is cut to release compression on your nerve root. It's a common surgery but there are always risks associated with any kind of surgery. I hope I helped you. Thank You !

A laminectomy is a surgical procedure that removes a portion of vertebral bone called lamina. Muscles are pushed aside rather than cut. Recovery are found in few days. In ayurveda you can avoid that surgery. For that, private consultation is must.
