I am 59 years old lady. Had bypass surgery cardiac 18 months back n on medication ecosprin, aztor-20, amglocard 5mgg, clopigrel-75 Angina kind symptoms recurs with stress, or physical vigorous activities n whenever I get too emotional or gets into depression quite often. Staying alone as children r married n living separately. Any medication to reduce mental anxiety, stress n to prevent me going in depression due to emotional loneliness. At times severe headache also triggers with chest n left arm heaviness n pain Please advise

Your problems are not reducing due to poor social contacts and support. You need to find people who can share your time with you. Your untreatable depression is because of that. Regain an active social life.

You have already undergone bypass surgery and on regular drugs for prevention of further blocks. They are done so that you can live independently. Your cardiologist might have counselled you about vigorous physical activities or restrictions. Children may not be able to do much for your emotional loneliness, even if they live with you. You seem to be computer literate. Get into some group online who have undergone similar surgery and undergoing treatment like you. They will be able to motivate you and even consolel you about headache and chest pain. Consult your cardiologist again with these symptoms, either she/he may prescribe an anxiolytic or antidepressant or refer you to a psychiatrist.
