My third molar (wisdom teeth) seems to be coming out and the pain is severe. The skin at the end has swollen up like a pimple and the whole jaw & ear on the right are paining severely. Due to Ganesh Nimarjan, no dentists are available. I tried gargling with lukewarm salt water with turmeric but there's no difference. Can anyone suggest me any remedies to decrease the pain or tablets? Urgent suggestions needed plz.

Erupting third molars can b very trouble some after all who gets wisdom easily turmeric hardly has a role here luke warm water with about three quarter glass with one spoon full of common salt rinse five six times a day let the area bathe in that water for a while keeping in view prevailing fever you may take six fifty mg of paracetamol about three times a day it will give you relief.

Dear Concerned Take a pain killer which you have handy. Once your pain is a little better take a toothpick and gently clean the gum around the tooth. It would be difficult to reach and a little painful but do it anyway. Whatever is stuck around your tooth under the gum should be cleaned. Do warm saline rinses. Apply some toothpaste around the tooth for 10 minutes and brush. Before sleeping rinse with a mouthwash if you have any. Remember not to apply any balm or heat from outside. Also sleep on the other side of the face. This should bring you some relief till you can see a dentist soon enough. Take care.
