It could be an element of inflammation like tendinitis, ganglion, etc which can lead to pains when it gets inflamed. If there is no warmth on touch or any associated skin redness, then the best approach could be to start gentle anti inflammatory medications, ice packs initially, adequate calcium and vitamin d intake and if required wrist brace for 2-3 weeks, but I will be in a better position to answer you if I have a clinical picture pointing to exact site of pain. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.
