I am 40 yrs old, my gums are receding up and as a result the roots of teeth are showing and a gap is created between gums and teeth. What is it? how will it be cured?

This is age change but it occurs fast when you do not maintain oral hygiene properly. Treatment of the gaps depend upon the size, location. Sometimes it can not be filled. To prevent further damage you have to be punctual about hygiene and follow-up visits to dentist.
