lybrate-user, Subclinical hypothyroidism or clinical hypothyroidism, basically mean the thyroid gland is not producing adequate quantity of thyroxine. This is an essential hormone for development and day to day functioning of brain, as well as multiple vital metabolic reactions constantly going on in the body. Therefore, thyroxine supplement is essential. Once the condition occurs, it will stay for lifetime. There is no cure. Thanks.
