My dad is suffering from lung cancer he is going under chemotherapy but his haemoglobin level is not rising. What should we do?

Dear lybrate-user, after cancer chemotherapy hemoglobin and blood count is likely to go down. If it is severely down then blood transfusion is indicated. I hope he must be already on blood forming and stimulating agents. If not they can be used on weekly or fortnightly or monthly basis. Your doctor will advise you. Secondly chemotherapy should be suspended till there is regeneration of hemoglobin. Truly,
