If it is neuralgia then visit a dentist. It is not advisable to start medication on your own because the medications for this condition can cause side effects.

Trigeminal neuralgia has long course of medicinal treatment. If medicine is no more effective then we can either go for alcohol injection which gives you relief for about 6 months or neurectomy which has very less chance of recurrence.
