I'm diabetic from past five years. I'm taking 10 units insugen-r morning and night. In the night 14 units of lantus. But past one month I'm suffering with feet burning and cramps. I suffered with pancreatic problem from my 9th standard.in my family nobody with diabetic. History. So please help me out.

Mr. lybrate-user, If you are having t1 diabetes, then there may be no family history at all. Even T2 DM also can come without any positive family history. There are many reasons for that. It is better if all the details like fasting, PP blood glucose levels & HbA1c%,plus dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise are mentioned. Cramps and and feet burning also are seen fairly often, if blood glucose is not well controlled. There may be a need to take certain vitamin and mineral supplements to overcome these problems.
