I am having pain and swelling in my abdomen and having swelling in right thigh to my waist on the right side since 2 months, on the other hand I am suffering from constipation, I am a heart patient too.

You claim to have Filariasis. So swelling as you have described is a known symptom. To relieve constipation, drink water more often (instead of drinking lot of water at one time. Stop eating foods that are difficult to digest, have too much spice, chillie, fried. Feat fresh foods. Old preserved foods are ever good for digestion. Eat by chewing your food properly and make sure you eat a lot of fiber. The foods that will help you a lot is fresh pomegranate, doodhi, amaranths leaves, coriander leaves, ash gourde. Dear Lybrateuser, - You have to get an ultrasound of the abdomen done to know the exact cause of your pain & swelling - try to avoid constipation as you have heart problem - have more of fibrous foods such as vegetables & fruits, beans, pulses, peas, a handful of nuts, flaxseeds in your diet - have 8-10 glasses of water for proper digestion & smooth bowel movement - do regular walking for 30-40 min, also do yoga for proper digestion for 10-15 min in the morning - have a glass of warm lime water on getting up in the morning - avoid fried, spicy, processed & junk food. - do investigation & consult a doctor for your problem.
