Hello Dr. I am losing my hair quickly I disappointed about it I am using medicine but not effective which are finasteride 1 mg tablet and minoxidil 5% lotion. Please give me other recommendations quickly.

Hello! Hair loss is mostly genetic, so if hair loss runs in your family, you are most likely to suffer from hair loss too. Hair loss happens either in clumps that is overall hair loss, or focussed on any one part of head - especially the crown. While genetics play a big role, some additional factors can aggravate hair loss - hormonal imbalance, stress, thyroid disease, anemia, protein deficiency, chemotherapy, and low vitamin levels may cause hair loss in you. Finasteride and Minoxidil work well in early stages of hair loss. But they require at least 4 to 6 months to show results. There are no magical instant remedies.
