Dear lybrateuser, - You have to take a well balanced diet after surgery for proper recovery - have more of fibrous foods like vegetables & fruits, like spinach, kale, broccoli, fruits apples, pears, berries, any other seasonal fruit, beans, legumes, oats, barley, sprouts, nuts,wholegrains - proteins are important for repair of damaged tissue, have eggs, non veg like fish, chicken, milk & milk products, legumes, beans, soya products, tofu healthy fats like fish mackeral, tuna, walnuts, olive oil, avocado, nuts, flax seeds - avoid fried, spicy, processed & junk foods.
