I am 35 years old. I am taking 50 mg Thyronorm and also taking homeopathy medicine for thyroid and mental health. Recently I went for a 3 weeks diet plan of Dr. Biswaroop Chaudhary and didn't took medicine and was feeling better but TSH shouted to 70 so I had resume my medicines. With medicines I have lot of side effects like back pain, numbness in legs and body, lethargy, fissure trouble, white tongue, froth early morning etc. I am continuing with my diet plan. Is there any permanent cure for thyroid? Need a doctor who can cure my thyroid and other troubles from root.

lybrate-user, Please understand hypothyroidism is a hormone deficiency disease. That means thyroxine is not produced in required quantity or not at all by thyroid gland. This hormone is required for development as well as day to functioning of brain, also required for every single vital metabolic activity in the body. If it is not made available then all the symptoms like weight gain, slow heart rate, lethargy, tiredness, hair fall, irregular menstruation, joint pains and anxiety etc are likely to be back. There is no treatment for hypothyroidism in homeopathy or other pathies. Only option is to take thyroxine in adequate dosage. Thanks.
