I'm 29f, I have thyroid problem since 1 year, I'm using thyronorm 50 mcg tablets every day, my thyroid is controlled. We are planning for pregnancy since from 6 months. But always getting my periods correct time in every month. This month till now I did not get periods, my menses date is on 8th Dec but today is 18 Dec. Today I done home pregnancy test in early morning but I got negative result. Im so worried and so sad after seeing negative results. But since 1 week I getting all pregnancy symptoms expect vomiting and food smells. Pls help me out doctors please.

lybrate-user, If one desiring to have a baby, then TSH should be maintained below 2 mU/L, then only conception occurs. Plus all thorough pregnancy TSH should be maintained around 2 mU/L, which ensures proper brain development in first trimester, later proper development of the fetus till the end of pregnancy. If TSH is high even prgnancy outcomes are not good. However, now if you have doubt about being pregnant, please visit your gynecologist and clarify. Thanks.
