My mom aged 64 was diagnosed with dementia 2 years ago after taking CT scan and some blood tests, her condition declined rapidly after starting anti psychotic drugs 3 months ago, the last drug she was taking (Halipridol for again) then she developed swallowing problem ending with feeding tube, her doctor recommended to stop Halipridol, her swallowing improved and now she is able to swallow all kind of food but unfortunately 3 days after stopping haloperidol she started jerky uncontrollable movements like moving her arms up and down, neck side to side and body side to side, the doctor prescribed Carbidopa and levodopa treatment but didn't work.
