Hi When a diabetic patient is having diarrhoea, hydration and blood sugars need to be carefully watched. You can give lemon water with salt and sugar, but make sure the intake of this homemade ORS is well balanced with your blood sugars. You can also consume rice water if you are unable to eat anything. Avoid milk as this worsens diarrhoea. Keep a constant watch on the blood sugars.
