I hv been using clofranil 10 mg half a tablet for last 4 years, to control anxiety, can I stop using it now.

Frequently, stopping psychotropic drugs all at once can produce a "drug withdrawal reaction" and to prevent that, one must taper the dose 'gradually'. Please ask the doctor to supervise the gradual taper. Only the doctor can tell you what 'gradual' can be, from his clinical experience.
