Dear Lybrateuser, - Calluses are usually formed due to ill fitting shoes or sandels which leads to friction between the footwear& skin of the foot - dip feet in warm water for 10-15 min twice a day - use a moisturizer & cover the foot with a sock - also can use a salicylic acid cream on the callus 2-3 times a day - take a pain relief tablet 2-3'times a day to relieve pain - if no improvement then excision of the top skin may be required.
