Sir, A case of love failure. I loved a girl but she likes someone else. Depression has been mine regular thing. I feel like to commit suicide. Does consulting a psychiatrist helps me out of the situation?

Hi lybrate-user, at this age these incidences are very common. Love is a broader term; the one who is made for you will meet you at proper time but you have to wait for that golden opportunity. To commit suicide is a weird and most condemnable thing to do. One should not even think of it. Your parents and family members love you a lot and please think of all those who love you not due to your education or looks but just as you are. Be you and feel special. Always try to improve yourself as a person, and compete with yourself. Learn from your past mistakes and always focus on the good things that you have achieved in your life instead of looking on what bad things have happened with you. You have to take charge of your happiness. Is your happiness so cheap that a lady or a gentleman can ruin it completely? Rather be special and setup an example for people and pear group. Make your presence special, make your smile special, make your guesture and posture special, in short love yourself. Your present problem states that you are not in love with yourself, that's why you feel in negative way. Now answer honestly who would purchase stale bread? Obviously no one. Similarly, think who would love a guy who doesn't love himself? So I think you got your answer, be brave. Babies don't leave walking due to fear of falling, we don't leave driving due to fear of accidents then why shall we feel negative in life. It happens Nikhil, believe me life is a suspense and I am sure you need to prove yourself. I am pretty sure you would make any girl feel special but that lady is not so special to deserve your love. Please do not waste your energy and divert it into some positive aspects so that your energy may bring light in many lives. Definitely, You should consult a psychiatrist for channelising your negative energy into positive energy and make you feel special. :)
