Hi. thanks for the query. It depends on your whole days diet intake whether a food will cause weight gain. As such coffee won't in isolation cause weight loss or gain. Also if the coffee has too much creamer and sugar and is had after a heavy meal it could be a reason for extra caloric intake. let coffee be a snack and avoid taking very late at night to avoid sleep disturbance which affects metabolism.
