My mother is having a lot of nerve pain on thighs. Whenever she sits for a while and get up, the pain is so much that she stays a while and then gradually starts walking. She walks daily but it is not helping. Please suggest some home remedies for her.

Hi lybrate-user, it is likely that your mother is having some nerve compression causing her symptoms. I would suggest showing to a doctor show that a complete neuro exam can be done. In her case, medications that help modulate nerve pain are usually beneficial. As far as home remedies are concerned- if the pain has been there for more than 3 months, using heat therapy to the area can help relax the muscles. If it has been less than 3 months, cold therapy would work better. I would also recommend getting the Vitamin D3 level checked.
