1.time depends upon many factors how deep is the tooth inside bone, skill of surgeon etc. Generally one wisdom extn tooth take from 15 mins to 30 mins even by any any chance if it take longer time just relax intial anesthesia will be enough fr 1 hr you will not have any pain sensation for sure just pressure can be felt. 2.recovery also has variable factors amount of bone removed, how neatly your surgeons performs. After the anesthesia effects goes you must take painkiller so you do not feel any pain. Taking icecream and cold food is must. Medicines mostly take care of everything and generally there is no postoperative discomfort. Mild swelling in few cases is oberseved. Would takes 3-7 days to heal after which suture can b removed 3.side effect- if your wisdom teeth is colse to nerve numbness in lower lip region will be thr. Your surgeon will take care about it from before and inform you in advance if it is close. There is nothing much you can do except fr choosing a good surgeon so relax only pain ull feel will be during the prick of first injection after that no pain so just relax and go ahead. Â

Surgery for removal of wisdom tooth is nothing to be so scared about. Most commonly the procedure is done under local anaesthesia and should take about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the condition of your tooth. Following the surgery you can expect some pain and swelling which is controlled by use of antibiotics and painkillers. Usually the sutures are removed after 7 days of the surgery. In the meantime there are some food restrictions you need to follow, like eating a soft diet. Â
