Hi, lybrate-user, I understand how difficult it would be for you to see your daughter like this. There are a few things that you can do to find help for her- 1. You need to take your daughter to see a good Psychologist who can speak to her and understand the reasons behind her refusal to go to school, feeling depressed and suicidal. - if your daughter isn't Shari g anything with you, the chances are high that she would speak to a therapist who ensures her confidentiality. 2. Speak to her friends, teachers and principal about how things are at school- hope your daughter isn't getting bullied by a student or a teacher? Try and get down to the bottom of the refusal to go to school. If you don't feel comfortable, don't tell the school/ teachers / friends about your daughter feeling depressed. Just go with why she is refusing to go to school. You alone will not be able to treat or help your daughter. Her physical symptoms of pain most likely are linked to psychological issues. Don't force her to go to school but do get the professional help from a Psychologist even if she reists. Finally, it's quiet possible that looking at the severity of her symptoms a Psychologist might suggest a referral to a psychiatrist forild medications- don't hesitate or resist. They will only help and nothing else. Do keep me posted about your daughter's well-being. Take Care
