Its not correct. You can eat anything which you had been eating since childhood. Its only for a few people who are sensitive to gluten and have problem digesting it that they should avoid gluten based food. Focus more on living a healthy life-style. Avoid all junk food ( which contain processed ingredients and added salt, sugar and preservatives.) Keep the body fit by exercising everyday for at least one hour. Make health a priority in life and soon you may find that the thyroid medicine may have to be reduced.

You will have to maintain TSH level around 3 to 4 mU. L, to be free from all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Foods that should be avoided include soy beans and soy containing products. Thanks.
