Hi. I got fungal infection below my breasts just above my tummy. I had the same problem last summer, now again its repeated. I use cotton bras, Ketoconazole 2.0 Soap (Keto Bar soap). It irritates my skin at that part. Kindly suggest what I need to do?

Dear, It is common to have a fungal infection in the summer season. It is due to the moisture, skin fold, and heat which triggers this. More than just irritation on the skin, you will have itching sensation, red marks (mostly rounded) and also skin scaling around the infected site. To treat this, only a Ketoconazole soap wouldn't be effective. You need to initiate antifungals and some other medications too. With the right medications, you should be well by the end of 7 days.
