For stress you can use these techniques: Stress is actually a response to pressure or threat, under which we may feel tense and nervous. Biologically, stress triggers the secretion of hormone called adrenaline which transiently affects the nervous system of human. Stress also affect a person physically. Well there are few ways to overcome your stress: Avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. Avoid beverages containing caffeine, alcohol or nicotine or at least reduce their use. These are stimulants which accelerats the level of stress and make you feel more disturbed. You can replace such beverages with water or a herbal tea. Try to relax yourself. Try relaxation techniques when your stress level cross your tolerance level. For example, try self-hypnosis which is very easy and can be done anywhere, even at your desk or in the car. One very simple technique is to focus on a word or phrase that has a positive meaning to you. Words such as "calm" "love" and "peace" work well, or you could think of a self-affirming mantra such as “I deserve calm in my life” or “Grant me serenity”. Relaxation is a skill that needs to be learned and will improve with practice. Learn to say ‘NO’. People mostly become stressed when they have a lot work to do. Learning to say “No” to additional or unimportant requests will help to reduce your level of stress, and may also help you develop more self-confidence. Manage time. Manage your time as per your works. Divide the work and complete it in pieces, so that you will never get mess up with the works and it will be easy for you to reduce your stress. Sleep as more as you can. Lack of sleep is a cause of stress or else it will increase your stress. You should get more and more sleep and if thoughts which mainly stress you, disturbs your sleep then go for meditation. Mediation is a universal way to fight mental and physical both the problem as it relaxes your mind. Indulge yourself in physical activity. It is one of the best ways to overcome stress.
