I am 30 year male suffering hypothyroidism since one year. From last 6 months my TSH, T3,T4 level is under control like normal men with medicine. Can I quite medicine?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The reason your TSH and other hormones are in the normal range is regular thyroxine intake. The day you stop that, TSH will go up and all the symptoms of hypothyroidism will return. This treatment is for lifetime. There is no cure for hypothyroidism. Thanks.
