Hi, Required the opinion from expert. My friend was diagnosed with slip disc in L5S1 lumbar region. Few days back, his movement has badly affected. After having MRI and hip X ray, it was diagnosed the onset of osteoarthritis with slip disc. Pls suggest on urgent basis, which doctor to be consulted for immediate relief. Also advise, can it be cured without surgery.

If it is the spine then Neurosurgeon can also be approached for advice. The management will depend on the symptoms, their severity and the investigation findings.
