Yes u can take milk at night don't take milk before two hours once u take elthroxin(empty stomach).try to avoid citrus fruits,cabbage , cauliflower etc. -try to avoid curd -check thyroid profile every 3mths

lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query. You can take milk or / and curd. There's absolutely no restriction on these. Only thing to be remembered is to take thyroxine tablet on empty stomach in the early morning and avoid taking anything after that for about 1 to 1 & half hours. As regards other food restriction, avoid Soy beans & soy containing foods. All other (a big list is given) should be taken in very small or moderate quantity. There's no need to restrict totally. Please take Levothyroxine in adequate dose and try & maintain TSH around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that level all symptoms are in check. Avoid all other unnecessary medications. Thanks.
