Dear Sir/Madam, my 7 years son is suffering from allergy and asthma. IGE is 2000. We are treatment from a hospital from NOV. 2017 by Pediatric pulmonologist. And giving inhaler_seroflo and nasonex nasal spray. This 6 month treatment breath problem has not came but he is having Itching of the nose, eyes or roof of the mouth and Sneezing. Now doctor is advice to immunotherapy. Through skin pick or blood sample, which one is good. What we should do. Please help.

If patient is non responsive to treatment. Immunotherapy is an option. Skin prick testing is the gold standard. Sub lingual immunotherapy and skin injections both are approved treatment options depending on what is available. Another option is anti igE therapy. Again depending on clinical presentation.
