Hello, Thanks for the query. The information given is inadequate to give any opinion. I need to know following details: His TSH, T3 & T4 levels when treatment was started with Neomercazole, plus what were the symptoms. His age, weight, height, heart rate, BP, and any other related issue. Secondly when was the treatment with neomercazole was stopped? What was the TSH level at that point? Because present TSH level signifies e over treatment with that drug. Usually when TSH levels reach around 0.5 on wards, then treatment is reduced and then stopped. So please come back with all above clarifications. Then only I can give some opinion. Also let me know does he have palpitation and excess heart rate (above 90 per minute)? Thanks.
