My father is facing herpes virus sick. He has little little blisters on his head and eye. Doctor says it's herpes. He given AXONE -T injection. Can it helped. My father age 61 he has sugar and pressure in normal condition. Sir give me good instructions for herpes treatment. AXONE -T IS ENOUGH. Please help me.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Hepes Zoster is a viral infection. It affects usually intercostal nerves or other nerve fibers. It can be treated only by giving Anti-viral drugs like Acyclovir 200 mg 5 times a day for 5 weeks or longer. Axone-T injection is Ceftrixone an antibiotic has absolutely no role in the treatment Herpes. Thanks.
