My father underwent cataract surgery 2 days back and yesterday we went for opening the Bandage. His visibility was zero and all was blank for him. Doctor said he had to put air bubble post operation due to pressure and it will take few days for air bubble to go away and inflammation also to go away, after which he will be able to see properly. We are very worried about his eyesight. He is 67 yrs, no diabetes and had cataract only in left eye. Please advise if this is normal and what will be his recovery path. He is able to see torch light and direction of light and has no pain and no discharge.
