Hi .is taking a teaspoon of cinnamon in water fine in a day .or does it cause any effect. Its a regular powdered cinnamon found in a kitchen also took some raw cinnamon it burned a little while I drank with water I hope it does not cause any affect to internal organs like mouth oesophagus heart or liver.

Hi, cinnamon is rich in antioxidants and recommended daily intake is 2.5 gm/day 9 (that is only half of a teaspoon ). Cinnamon have toxins called coumarin so it must be limited. Safe to hold the recommended amount. Hopes this information helps you.
