Hey I'm a 25 year old male with amblyopia in right eye (poor vision. I recently consulted a doctor regarding the treatment, he said that I have problem with one muscle, the possibility of getting vision after surgery is zero but it can be corrected for cosmetic purpose, but there is a chance of squint returning after sometimes as there is no proper vision in my right eye. Can I know the possibility for squint to return and is it good to undergo for a surgery?. Thanks in Advance.

Agree to whatever your doctor has said. Luke any surgery, there are chances of complications. However the there is a remote chance of a resurgery. Obviously all this can be only assessed after a thorough examination. I would recommend you to undergo surgery, if your doctor deems right.
