My tsh is 8.92 what type of thyroid me having. I am a mother of a 14 months old does it breast feed affect my child.

Hello, Thanks for the query. With TSH 8.92 mU/L, you have sub-clinical hypothyroidism. This invariably does not need any treatment, unless one has presence of troublesome symptoms related to hypothyroidism. Usually when TSH crosses 10 mU/L and above hypothyroidism is confirmed and treatment is initiated. There is no effect on the feeding of the baby. If you have any specific symptoms then do come back.
