My son (35 years) is on treatment for Hyperthyroidism since 5 years. He is on 20 mg/week of Methimazole. His options are either to continue methimazole or to consider Radio iodine to kill the thyroid and make it hypo and then be on hypothyroid medicine for rest of life. Which Option Should he Consider?

It may not be correct to induce hypo and go on medication for lifelong and you have to do as your doctor told you
