Hello, I play the tuba for my high school band. Since last year (not all the time, but mostly when I am tying to take deeper breaths it starts) I have been burping a lot. It feels like every breath I take is adding to air that I am burping that comes out every few breaths. In addition, at the end of a very deep breath in it feels like the air that has added up to a burp is pushed out. I mentioned this at a physical I did and they did not know what it was. It is impacting my playing a bit, and is getting a little bit annoying that it keeps coming back.

When you blow, the air goes out of your mouth and at the time of breathing in, take in the air through your nose and not through mouth. This will avoid swallowing air into your tummy which is causing burps. This you have to practice with some effort.
