Decrease dose to 75 mcg. Stop thyronorm for one week then start 75 mcg empty stomach and iodised salt in unripe form.

lybrate-user, thanks for the query. When one is on adequate dosage of levothyroxine, tsh is maintained around 3 to 4 mu/l at which level all the symptoms are in check. Your present tsh level is a bit lower than the lower limit of 0.5 mu/l. Hence, there is a need to reduce the dosage by 12.5 or 25 mcg per day. It is always good to reduce or increase the dosage in a minimal amount and then check tsh again after 6 weeks to see if desired level is reached or not. If you have any questions please do come back.
