You are not in right way of management. I will give you some tips that may help you. First of all, asthma diagnosis should be sure. If asthma is sure, asthalin is taken only in emergency, not on daily basis. For daily basis, we will give low dose inhale steroid which has minimum side effect and control the disease better. Long term asthalin use increases the tremor, blood electrolytes level, blood sugar level etc etc. So, your age is less and check up to pulmonologist for chest examination, pft and few other routine test for better health. Dear Mr. lybrate-user, asthalin (salbutamol) is not a very good drug for long term asthma management due to 1. It has a short duration of action 2. It cannot prevent asthma attacks 3. It can be dangerous for heart (in an unsupervised use, for long period) fortunately there are better, safer drugs to control asthma. Since asthma is treated according to its stage, kindly get a pft test done. Wishing you good health.
