R Sumitra ji, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details and understand your concern. Madam since last 11 years you have been having hypothyroidism, so by now you should be knowing almost every aspect of that condition. So I am a bit surprised to see that you had stopped taking Levothyroxine suddenly. Even though your TSH was 0.01 mU/L, treatment should not have been stopped. What was necessary was to to take a reduced dosage of Levothyroxine for some weeks, then check TSH. I am sure you are aware that TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, for remaining free from all the symptoms of the disease. Now that the treatment has been restarted, please check TSH after 6 weeks to see if the desired level is achieved. As regards the food intake, you should avoid soy beans, and soy containing foods. All other foods are fine. Plus avoid bakery items and deep fried foods. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Thanks.
