I have my knee x ray done bcz I have knee pain for onr month doctor sugest ne to do ap and lateral x ray .reports are these please tell me what is written in reports. There is bilateral tibial spiking and minimal osteophytes at patella bilaterally. Joint spaces and bone density are normal.

Hi you didn't mention your age. Tibial spiking seen in early osteoarthritis. Seems you have patellofemoral arthritis also as your xray suggests patellar osteophytes. You might be having early arthritis of knee. So please do quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting/sitting cross-legged. Avoid climbing stairs.

Knee pain can because of many reasons. Like osteoarthritis, chondromalacia patella, bursitis. X-ray indicates mild degenerative changes which can be present due to age related changes. You can also try following if you do not have physical therapist near by you 1. Hot water fomentation for painful knees for 15 minutes three times a day 2.
