Respected doctor, I am 16 year old boy. I was suffering from anxiety disorder ans panic attacks. I took flunil 40 (day) [ fluoxetine ] and zaptra ls 12. 5 mg (night) [ paroxetine & clonazepam ] for 6 months. Now the doctor changed zaptra ls 12.5 to zapiz 0.25. After taking zapiz for a week I am not feeling well. I am feeling uncomfortable and sad. I am feeling restless. Should I switch back to previous medicine zaptra ls? Please doctor help me, I am feeling extremely bad and depressed. :(i will be extremely thankful doctor.

Dear user, you are very young and dynamic. Tension and ghabrahat is a very small thing in front of you. Be energetic to possess all the positive energy in your life. Because everything is on your hand. Your health. Your thought process. Everything is with you. Just need little polish. Don't be scared. No body is going to kill you or eat you. Talk to one psychologist/ counsellor. Develop positive habits. Regarding changing of drugs consult your psychiatrist. And also drink 2-4 ltrs. Of water everyday & reduce weight too, participate yourself in yoga/meditation/exercises.

Yes zaptra is paroxetine which is good for panic attacks with anxiety. But consult a psychiatrist before doing so. Usually flunil is not combined with zaptra as both are ssri and have almost similar action.
