I am a 26 year old female with gum pain at the back of my mouth, and towards the throat. There is also a dull ache in my jaw. My gums in the back are swollen (only on the bottom, right hand side) and I feel a little discomfort when I swallow. What is the problem and what should I do to treat it? Thank you!

It is very difficult to evaluate this without clinical examination. U might have experiencing the pain due to wisdom teeth, or you may have some cavity in your mouth or may be some gingival infection etc. Various things can happen. Visit your dentist for further clinical evaluation. For personal consultation use doctor code ascb34. Thanks.
