I am 22 years female have back pain and knee pain from 1 month. I am diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chondromalacia. Dr. Has prescribed nucoxia Mr. 1 tab bd pregabalin 75 mg od both for 10 days. Some exercises are prescribed. This medications have side effects so reluctant to take. Can I get cured only with exercises? Are these medications lifelong? They have side effect like blurring of vision. Is it permanent? Till the time I will take medication I won't be able to see properly? Long term side effects?

My first advise to you is do not do google for everything. Have some faith in Dr. also. My second advice is if you want to cure yourself without medicine and with exercise then you can do exercise with taking medicine nucoxia Mr. and hold pregabalin.

Medications aren't for lifelong. The mainstay of treatment is physical therapy for fibromyalgia. And if it doesn't subside by physio then you can visit orthopedician for local injection therapy. And for chondromalacia you need to get an mri done if the pain is too much and hindering your daily activities.

Side effects do not occur in all patients. So ask your doctor and take medicines as he says. Medicines are not to be given lifelong unless one has Rheumatoid Arthritis.
