I had acne vulgaris on cheeks and on my back and shoulders. I got myself treated, my dermsyggested azelaic acid and azithromycin and clindamycin lotion for back. Now I have stopped treatment and i'm using kojivit ultra for dark spots at night and salicylic acid face wash regularly. My question is can I apply kojivit ultra directly at night after salycyclic face wash. Will it react? And I also use tinted sunscreen which are good for oily skin but it still makes my face dark.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user you can apply the azelaic acid cream after the face wash, they are unlikely to react but since they are both drying in nature, wash off if any irritation is felt. Most patients will not have any problems. As for sunscreen use, physical protection with caps, hats, umbrellas, masks etc are preferred even after sunscreen application as the sun is strong in our climate. Best wishes.
