Hi I am a 19 year old male some days before I was doing arm wrestling when I heard a popping sound from my right arm but I didn't feel anything a day later I experienced pain in between the bicep and elbow now its been 5 days I experience sudden sharp pain. For your information I have been going to the gym since a year but never experienced this kind of problem. Thanks in advance.

It is better to consult an orthopedic surgeon, while in the mean time use a sling to immobilize your arm and avoid any weight bearing.

Cold compresses can help reduce swelling in the area. Cooling also helps to numb sharp pain. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin. Heat therapyheat helps to relax tense muscles and soothe a stiff area. It can help with muscle pain and bonny pain. Use a heated gel pack, heating pad or a hot water bottle.
