I'm 34 weeks pregnant with second baby, and first baby being 3 years old born in Aug 2013 via Cesarean due to fetal stress (as reports say). As per my gynae everything is going good. Im eager to know if I would need a Caesarian one a again or if I can go via Normal for the delivery. Till now the tests as urine, HB, ultrasound, sugar level etc all are normal. How is it decided? Can there be any complication due to the first Caesarian? I'm confused, please help. Thanks in advance.

Dear Lybrate user, It is not possible to predict whether you will have normal delivery this time. Chances of repeat Caesarean section are high. One can determine chances for Normal delivery on examination at the time of labor pains. Most of the Obstetricians would opt for Caesarean section since it involves taking risk for Normal delivery in cases of previous Caesarean section.k
