I have fungal infection on my thighs for more than 1 year. I had consulted 3 doctors previously and now I had visited a skin specialist 8 days before he gave me itrasys 200 mg capsule and dexodil sr 6 mg tablet along with onabet cream its effects are positive I want to know for how much time I have to continue the medication to completely over the infection.

Hello. It will be necessary for you to continue the treatment (Itrasys and onabet cream) for atleast 2 months as these fungal infections are known to recur if the treatment is stopped in between. I would advice you to stop the medicines only after showing your treating doctor. Also once the treatment is stopped you can continue to use antifungal powder (Absorb powder) for few days on body folds.
